the birthday.

i am between clients right now.. .sitting in a suburban neighbourhood... in my work car... doing paper work... and borrowing internet.
today is my birthday, i deserve to be spoiled! i am totally feeling the birthday love from everyone. <3

the weather right hnow is soooo perfect. it's cloudy and misty. ugh, i could have this weather for weeks... and so since i have handy little netbook, i'll watch Vampire Diaries.

UGH. what a splendid day so far, and it's still early.

my duckie debate

the VERY first time i ever watched Pretty in Pink, i could've traded all the Lipsmackers i owned to be his friend. each time i watch this film my longing for a "Duckie-friend" wavers. i just did a 180 emotional longing for Duckie today.

today i watched Pretty in Pink and i couldn't help but to think how stressful it would be to have such a reliable good friend be so deeply infatuated with you. the friendship you treasure is so special and you never want to hurt the other person. THEN, out of selfishness (like Andie Walsh, gotta love her) you would keep this other person close becuase you dddoooo enjoy being around them. the only thing is you aren't attracted to them.

...i wonder if all this Duckie-sympathy is stemming from maturity.... yeah, probably not.
